"Our employees took part in this collaborative workshop, which examined the impact of our industry on the value chain. It was a significant moment for our family business, which has been operating in the wool industry for over 175 years.
Why was this workshop so valuable?- It created a common knowledge base on CSR issues- It encouraged the emergence of concrete ideas for everyone to get involved in their profession. - It enabled us to align our teams with our commitments and our group CSR strategy. At SEGARD MASUREL, we are convinced that the transition to a more responsible and sustainable model requires the mobilization of everyone, at all levels of the company."

"Focus on the textile transition with the Textiles Untangled"

Since May, more than 70% of our head office employees have taken part in the Textiles Untangled workshop. Our goal is 100%! This collaborative and educational workshop provides a better understanding of the environmental and social impact of the entire textile chain, from raw materials to the end of a garment's life. So yes, we are a ready-to-wear company. No, not everything is perfect. But we are moving forward with the desire to do better, involving all our teams. The outcome of the workshops? Genuine discussions, lucid observations, questioning, collective challenges... and ideas for action, within our constraints, in a context that is sometimes complex but never static. Thank you to Valentin and Claire for their passionate leadership, and to Green Donut for the wealth of content shared. And thank you to all the teams for playing along."Pimkie (2025)

"An alarming observation, significant challenges, and solutions within everyone's reach!"

"I had the opportunity to participate in a Textiles Untangled workshop offered by Green Donut to help Surfrider Foundation Europe employees improve their skills in the textile industry, from raw materials to recycling, including the stages of manufacturing, purchasing, and sales... an unimaginable and colossal impact that is difficult to grasp. [...] This work to raise awareness among the various stakeholders is fundamental. After assessing the situation, we were able to collectively brainstorm solutions and concrete actions to reduce our impact... but it's not always easy to juggle between "easy" actions, "feasible" actions, and actions with a "strong impact"! [...] The list is long and has allowed each of us to consider how to act and influence our consumption patterns while relying on strong advocacy on the textile industry."Marc VALMASSONI, Surfrider Foundation Europe (2025)
