The anti-waste law for a circular economy aims to accelerate the shift in production and consumption models in order to limit waste and preserve natural resources, biodiversity, and the climate (end of disposable plastic, fight against waste, better consumer information, etc.).

The extended producer responsibility (REP) scheme covers many products and packaging items placed on the market in France. In collaboration with eco-organisations, producers are responsible for reducing their environmental impact throughout the product life cycle.
